Maria Marano works as an educator at a health charity. Since completing her graduate studies examining the molecular pathways of neurodegenerative diseases, she built experience in scientific writing & verification as part of the English communications division for a Japanese neurotechnology group. Maria is also involved in NeuroTechX as part of her local chapter, editor for the NeuroTech Primer Textbook, and co-lead of the Diversity Initiative. Maria is interested in topics related to neuroscience and neurotechnology with the ultimate goal of bridging the gap between research discoveries and public understanding.
